Lake Malawi is one of the large rift lakes in Africa. The cichlids are generally placed in two overall categories...Mbuna and Utaka. Among the Utaka are the Aulonocara groups commonly know as the "Peacock" cichlids. These are considered the most beautiful freshwater fishes of the world by most fish keepers. These captures are of my pets unless otherwise noted.
